92 civic Si with 94 B18c1 performance question

92 civic Si with 94 B18c1 performance question
I bought this car for all the wrong reasons. It should kick butt but doesn't. DC header, Tanabe exhaust, 17" wheels. I don't think the Vtec is kicking in. Any simple way to check this? At 90,000 miles, I don't think it's worn out.
On the brute force side of things, Anyone have any info on adding a turbo or supercharger to this combination? It looks awfully tight with the AC...
