Question for sleeved closed deck h-series guys???

Default Question for sleeved closed deck h-series guys???

For you guys the have a sleeved 87-89mm blocks, do the outside of the sleeves touch? Or are they perfectly round?

yes they do....the cylinders are not 4 complete circles. The fact that the sleeves are thck guarantees they overlap



It would be ungodly thin if they DID touch

Well both have a water jacket...one just has a 'deck' joining the sleeves to the block. I wouldn't think there was anything different about the sleeves themselves?

There is a 0.5mm gap or even smaller between sleeves on my block. I am using sleeves from JG engine dynamics. I'll try to locate a pic when I get home.

Not the best pic, but mine pretty much looks like Satan_srv's except for the fact that mine is a CLOSED deck (Also done by Golden Eagle Mfg):

LA Boost Sleeves. Yeah they are huge, just the way I like it. We had to machine material off to get them in the block hahah

what PSI are those babys rated to? Not that I'd ever be able to afford or want to mess around with something that manly lol

40psi...so I was told here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=619533

I'd have to change my pistons of course. but I could boost it a hell of a lot hehe
