Ti vs. Stock retainers: how much difference
I was looking and the ti retainers are only 6g vs the stock 11.8g, how big of difference does this really make? With stock retainers is the rev limit going to be severly lower than w/ the Ti?

what you also need to consider is RPM. I would say OEM would be fine until you go past 9k.
Past 9k, you'll see retainers break. Ti retainers are MUCH stronger, but are a softer metal. Because they are softer, you'll see the galling and wearing affects that causes them to wear too thin and than break.
Best of both worlds:
Nitride coating the retainers, much stronger, and harder than oem
