Default EF9 Conversion...how did you?

All EF9 front end owners ...

how did you go about wiring up your headlights?
the plugs are different.

when it came to the corners..i put the the one that turns on with the lights in ,
and the other one (blinks/hazards) i just left unplugged ..figured i would just use the bumper lights for turns signal and hazard.

what did you do?

thanks for looking

the headlights were pretty simple, when i get home i can take a look at mine and tell you what i did, unless someone beats me to it, as for the corner lights, i split the originals and the one that is always on i left in the corner light, and for the side markers i just spliced the wires from the original blinkers in the corner lights into that

for the heads, it's a double filament bulb for high and low beams...

the three prongs :

I I

top is low beam, left is high beam and right is ground (i think, i'll double check when i get home). so just splice the wires on the plug that goes onto the bulb and connect them to the high/low beam wires accordingly.

the headlights are easy, i forgot what colors the wires are on the jdm lights, but basically, you just match color to color. your usdm headlight should have 2 sets of wires (4 TOTAL wires), a positive and a ground wire (this is black) for the high beam AND the low beam. the jdm lights have just 3 TOTAL wires: the high, low, and ground wires. colors match up, you'll see when you take a look at them. i just ghetto wrapped the other ground wire (from the usdm chassis) in black tape and soldered the matching colored wires.

for the corner lens, i just did what you did...although i might just use some old usdm clear corners to use both bulbs, since i don't have sidemarkers

i have the ef8 front, when i did mine, the wires colors all matched up, you have to cut the harness and connect the new plug for the h4h.
