Default New Race Header for B-Series

Well here is Weapon R's new stainless steel race header. This thing is beautiful. I was never really up on Weapon R, but they have really come around. They are coming out with an intake manifold and throttle body, all for B-series motors. This header is the very first one they have produced for testing.

Right now I have the DC JDM 4-1 header, and I am going to dyno before and after the new race header for results. I will post the results as soon as possible.

Here are some pics, more to come.

Me either but that header sure looks like a nice piece.

Can't wait to hear/see results.

Looks similar to the hytech tri Y B series header... How much is Weapon R asking for the race headers? If they are around the price of a DC header they might sell some but if they are trying to compete with the big boys... SMSP and such, they are waisting their time...

Well, here's the deal. I am taking the car down to the dyno to get tuned to the best of the car's ability. Then I will take off the header and put this one on without changing anything and see what happens. Good or bad, I will post up the #'s.

I will also post up some closer pics of the welds and quality tomorrow.

If it makes good power, it makes good power. No need for anyone to start the "hating".

Hurry and post those dyno charts.

I'm not one to post stuff without some evidence but Vibrant, a company based in Canada, has version that is somewhat similiar to the Toda header.

I had a close customer of mine brought pics of this header at some shows and look very nice. I will get a part number from Vibrant tommorrow,

Bert

True, if it makes power and its all good.

Sometimes at the track, you'll always encounter a budget racer(s) being faster than the big sponsership race car.

But...........sometimes owning a name brand-x gives you the wiggles, lol.

Sort like owning silk Tommy Hilfger boxers than the Walmart brand itchy boxers. It serve a purpose but one will give you the itch rather the other gives you teh warmth smoothness.

Just my $.02 cents of the nite, gooodddd............. $5 pitchers are kicking my a$$ right now, lol.

Its not a bolt on. Correct? It looks a bit long. Like you'd have to move the cat converter back some without that extra pipe he has his hand on.

OK, we took pics last night up close of the welds, flanges and overall, but didn't get them up loaded. I will take more tonight of the install and go from there.

As for the motor setup, currently the car has:
95 GSR motor swap
Skunk2 i/m
Skunk2 ecu
Skunk2 valves (flat high compression)
Skunk2 ti retainers
Skunk2 valves springs
Skunk2 Stage 3 cams
Skunk2 cam sprockets
Spoon headgasket
Head has been milled .020
light port work
68mm tb
STOCK BLOCK
ARP head bolts
MSD 6AL, & blaster coil

The car right now has the DC JDM 4-1 header and HKS Hi-Power cat back exhaust with a S.S. test pipe.

Yes it was.

As for the cost, I don't know yet. This one was free since my car is sponsored by Weapon R. This is also the first one they have ever produced, so we'll see.

I think the days of the butterfly knife key is gone for them.
