Gonna be needin a new clutch here. I do some street racing, and hit the strip once in a while. Any suggestions as far as what brand, and what type of clutch to look into?
Thanks, ya'll.

If all you are going to do si boltons just get an ITR clutch. And while your down there throw in a lightweight flywheel. No point in buying a clutch capable of holding LOTS of power if you will never need it.

I got a Clutchnet Stage 1 clutch about a month ago. I am pretty dissapointed. It does grab well, but not hard enough for me. The clutch pedal is still EXTREMELY light. Even though I'm not making any major power (yet), I would be much happier with a stage 2..
I got a ACT w/ HD Pressure Plate and Street Disc. Grips really well and clutch take up is nice and quick. You have to really pay attention to the clutch though because the the takeup is much quicker though.
I'd also recommend putting in a LW flywheel since you'll have the tranny out. Everybody who has LW flywheel seems to love it...

i diagree... personally i like the feeling of the heavier clutches... being able to hold that much power even though u dont have it... its just a personal preferance i guess
my RPS turbo clutch has been holding up pretty well over the past 2 years.. it's gone through a lot of abuse and it's still grabbing well. by the way, clutchnet manufacturers RPS clutches, so i'm probably going to go with a clutchnet for my next clutch
clutchmaster stage 3 or 4... Ihave the stage three and it grips nice.. but i think i want something a little more stiffer.. and more beefy... next time around
