Our last dedicated Jap car show of the year happened on sunday at out only really dedicated Drag strip....Santa Pod.

I was there with this.........my JDM EF7 Si, ran a 15.1 at 90.5 mph, which i'm pleased about, as i 'm new to this, and beat a few vtec crx's and some new civic type-r's in the process

RX7 did a 13 dead with all road gear


Daihatsu Charade GTTi in full rally spec, 3 cylinders and 160bhp, and weighs **** all


Old Z managed a 13.9, not sure of the spec of it though


I managed a better time than this new Civic-R

I think the website i uploaded them onto resized them, that was at 5 mill mega pixels, my ones on my sony imagetransfer software seem to be alot better quality than what i posted here.
And it does take 2 screens to look at one pic if you know what i mean.

I better figure out how to use the camera better me-thinks!!


There were 5 or 6 skylines running 10's, and evo5 did an 11.2, then there were no end of rx7's/ supras/ more skylines in the 12 and 13 second brackets!

Amazing pictures man. That black crx has pretty much inspired me to keep my damn car.. Love the last blue skyline.. and that grey r32... love them all!

 

Those are some of the best pics I have ever seen. I can't believe they got that many fast cars together at one time.

Are you sure about that trap speed? 200+ mph in the 1/4 mile should be a 6-second ET. 10-sec cars usually run in the 130's-140's. If it got up to that high of a speed but only ran 10's, it must have coasted the last 1/8 mile, or it had the most horrible launch ever.

No sorry, i ment it has been speed trapped at 215mph top speed!!!

I think it went thro at 154mph or something!
