Update on recovered PA type R
hey guys, this is hans with the latest on my new integra. i finally got her home yesterday, with no trouble thankfully, and started work already. i gutted the rest of the a.c. and took of the front license plate....talk about progress!!! haha
anyway i found the owners manual with all of the original owners info in it! i called information immediately and got his number...the lady that answered told me that it was actually her brothers car under her dads name and he was there for me to talk to. he had no idea that the car was even found...and then told me that he went to school at lehigh college and during spring break he parked it in the school's garage and upon returning it was gone forever.
i told him the plans i have for it, as well as a promise to let him drive it again when its done. he told me that he didnt know what prod. number it was but he would look at his old photos to find out
the insurance company provided him with enough loot to buy a new infiniti g35 coupe, but although he likes it he said he would trade in a heartbeat...he loved his car so much. so at least i have this much to go on and he has his closure. im going to put it on jack stands and start the disection tonight, before i do ill snap a few phots for you all and hopefully have them up tomorrow morning. thanks for everyones ideas and help on my "new" 97 cw integra type r........
...............hans->
p.s. someone imed me this morning but i accidently deleted it!!! send again please...

I doubt it. Guy didn't mention any racing aspirations. Besides, who would buy a stock-condition Type R for $20k specifically to race?
More likely it was stolen on the tow home
