Yep, you're right - just got the email a couple of minutes ago. All registered!

This'll be only my third event this year. Palisaides not being an acceptable location this year really messed me up.

Ya gotta take what ya can get. I like NYR, PSCC and NASA in that order. With M-club only if I'm jonesin and just need to drive something.

Rodney did me a favor one year and dragged me to just about every local event within an hour and halfs distance. I learned how different clubs can be and are run. I learned which ones I liked and which ones were worth a trip or not.

For technical challenging driving, NYR and PSCC are the tops on my list, simply because I can't get off for any Saturdays for other SCCA events. NASA is my club and I run them when I can. M-club is fun for foolin around.

I drove WSCC last year when they were behind Yonkers raceway. It was ok, the lot was filthy, bumpy and had loads of sharp metal hazards. (Almost got run over by an over-enthusiastic S2000 that day.) Don't know anything about the new Orchard beach site though, ask rodney, he might have driven there already.

Good luck, I know what it's like wanting to drive so much and either not having the time or any matching schedule to be heard of.

 

Agreed. Not having matching schedules or not knowing about an event in the NYC area is no longer a viable excuse.

 

this will be a good event. nice lot, good surface, blah blah blah.
if u wanna do lots of events, follow some of us around for the summer. some of us autox every weekend at least one event. sometimes tow.

rodney, so that you are able to kick my *** tomorrow, can youg give me something right around the location of the autox, so that I can mapquest it? or describe how to get there from a good reference point? I'm coming from the upper west side tomorrow.
