My EBP hatch..I got it running!
IT runs!!! After having some problems with the wiring https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=602577 I finally got the car running for the first time since I purchased my "from the ground-up" project car last October. Now to the problem:
The car was stolen from someone previously and I picked it up as a "repairable salvage" from Import Auto Salvage (18009628922). Someone had stolen the car for the what ever B swap someone had put in there. Instead of unclipping the connectors they decided they would cut them thus trashing the dash harness. Understanding that I was gonna have a B series swap, Had ideas of switching the center dash console/heater controls/core to that of a 99, and that the 99 engine harness would match up to various 96+ dash connectors I purchased a:
-99 Si MAIN DASH HARNESS( easily matched to engine harness, no need to run wires)
-99 Si ENGINE HARNESS(again no need to run wires for vtec, KS etc. matched dash harness)
-99 SI FLOOR HARNESS(only thin that would match up to dash main harness, +planned on power windows, tweeters later
since my car was a hatch and the rear harness of the car did match because where the 98 connectors where male and the 99 connectors where also male so I had to trace those with a Honda ETM. Thinking that it was all plug and play and i would have little headache later i plugged it all up.
The day came to start the car, No fuel pump signal! The original post

We found that the black ground (#2 ) on the engine main harness to dash harness for some odd reason had 12 volts. We checked all the PGMFI main relay connections again only to pop more ECU fuses. We followed the flow chart from Ground 101 (thermo start housing, ground for engine harness+allot of ****!), back to the engine main harness,/dash harness only to realize that it only ran back to the PGMFI. but we4 checked that! I remembered that the relay controlled the injectors. We checked the injectors only to notice that I HAD PINCHED ONE OF THE INJECTORS WIRES BETWEEN THE FUEL RAIL/INTAKE MANIFOLD CAUSE I WAS TRYING TO MAKE IT LOOK NICE AND NEAT BY TUCKING THE WIRES UNDERNEATH!!!!!
Hope this is usefull. Thanks to Gary, my mech cause he is superman! LOL

more bad news... I blew that motor because of a mis-machined STR cam gear!!! After reading numerious honda manuals I learned you can align the camshafts to TDC with a "holder bolt" or simply an allen wrench. After getting my new engine built....the machinst who did all the work and built my motor...but the AW's in the holder holes in the cam and sure enough 1 of the cam gears I bought was mis machined. while the exhaust cam w/ gear set right a TDC the exhaust was about 10 degrees off.... ******* **** lol. I lost a 12 cr high HP ls/vtec to detonation cause of some damn cam gears...
