Default how much quicker?

how much quicker would a JDM D15 be with a Zc trans over the dx trans? would it be that much quicker and would i have to get diff axles as well? thanks in advance

. The stock transmission works with the ZC, but the Si transmission is preferable. The stock clutch will work just fine but be aware that it will most likely need to be replaced with a heavier duty clutch. A ZC transmission is available but requires Integra axles and possibly a ZC flywheel. The ZC is similar to the 88-89 Acura Integra 1.6L DOHC motors, but are NOT the same. good luck

thanks for the feeback but i would like to know if it would make the car any faster or would i be totally better off going with the si trans?

Yes it will accelerate alot quicker. DX trans have gears to the f'in moon. From what Ive heard, the ZC and Si transmissions are indentical 1st to 4th gear, the Si's have a longer 5th. I'd say its neccesary to ditch that DX trans with your d15, unless you plan on boost.

well i have been thinking about boosting in the near future. now if i do decide to boost what would be the best option in trannys?

the ZC tranny has the exact same final drive as a DX tranny. so basically, you could put an Si final gear into a ZC tranny and have a short, close geared tranny.
