I think the thinner oil would probably be worse due to running out more easily. The pressure is set by the pressure relief valve in the oil pump housing. Changing to a softer spring will reduce the pressure. I don't know with your motor if it can be reached with the oil pan on or not. Note that some engine builders will put in a stiffer spring or shim the stock one to increase pressure. Are you sure the seals are OK in the turbo? Do you have a guage, how high is the pressure you have now?

The seals should be fine its a brand new turbo as soon as i installed it and started the car it was leaking oil. And im in the process of installing a guage to see how high the pressur is. So theres a spring i have to change to lower the pressure

saw this thread while researching pumps. in the case of turbo seals leaking, the problem isn't your engine's oil pump, it's the flooding of oil to the turbo center housing and leaking past the seals. you need to use a smaller oil feed line, i.e. -3AN, and/or put a restrictor inline to decrease the volume of oil being fed to it. in any case you should be checking the pressure at the turbo.
