Default Engine Swappers / Experts... Advice Needed

So here's the deal. As you can see from reading the following post, i have lots of friends..
There is a really ultra clean teg up for sale in my area that my friend Beener is selling. it has 250k on it and
he only wants $3k cdn for it. Its an automatic which i hate and wouldnt keep.

I have another friend with a legit gsr motor up for sale, powder coated
looks sweet 14k kms on it out of a 2000 gsr with transmission. (have papers)
He wants $3500 cdn.
So are you reading my mind yet?
I know I need reservoir, pedals, linkage etc to do the swap which will run me
about $300 cdn. I can get the parts I have lots of connections.

My friend swears up and down that he can do the swap and that its not a problem and that he did it in Nicks Civic (mutual friend) which is a nice car that used to be
auto and is now standard.

Whats your honest opinion? Would I be getting in over my head or is it worth it?
Considering that i would have an rs with gsr motor for $6000 to $6500 CDN.
Which is like $1 u.s. no more like $4k

What is really involved in this swap? Is it as easy as it sounds?
Please replies from experts, people that have done this swap before, or experienced engine swappers only. Stunnahz need not inquire.

By the way I did a search...
I only found a bunch of froth about how its better off to get the car u want
bla bla bla which is true except the price of this teg is too good to pass on.

So whats the real deal?
Is there a site anywhere that details this swap?
If yes post a link.

Thanks for your help!

Well, I trust Geoff my friend that says that he can do this.
He is a realy smart mechanic. Plus I know he did Nicks car and it turned out great.
I on the other hand am a dumbass about such things and wouldnt know where to begin. Hence this post. I am trying to research it.
