Power loss too......
Need help with this one. Here is the history. Monday I was driving normally and all of a sudden the car dies out. Fuel tank of gas, NO engine check light, but car will not start. Battery termianls are find eveything works, just that the car does not start. took it to the dealer and they were able to start it, but they did not do a thing. NOW when i hit VTEC it accelorates really slow, doesn't feel the same. I think it is a noticable difference. Any idea's?? Fuel filter? Fuel Pump? Fuel line? car only has 15k miles. idles fine.
hmmm. I think you have an electrical problem. Check the inside of your distributor by your ignitor, see if the wires are crimped on tight.
I am sure nothing is wrong with your fuel system, 9 times out of 10 its electrical and its usually easy to find.
do you have a helms manual. you need to get an electrical schematic and track it from the ignition switch to the distributor.

May be a dumb question...did you change the fuel? Did you change where you’re getting your fuel (supplier as well)? At 15,000 miles you shouldn't have a residue build up problem, but some of the easiest things may be the best. If the changing of the fuel doesn't work, try cleaning your injectors. It's not hard to do, and it's a better alternative then ripping your car apart and beating yourself up over a simple problem...
I'm assuming you saw my post about power loss? Check out the websites in the last post on the second page. See if that does/doesn’t point you in the right direction. It may/may not be the right answer. Let us know…

Dude, I am so sorry to disagree with you but the total opposite is true. Most of the time (with today's cars) is NOT an electrical issue; it is more fuel related. Besides the OBDII unit is underneath the passenger seat from what I understand. (Someone let me know if I am wrong). But if that were the case, it would be harder to damage then one would think.
Anyway (to get back to my main point), I do not think it's electrical. Remember that if it were electrical you would get a check engine (OBDII Warning). My friend, look at the simple things first and hope that you DON'T have an electrical issue, because they are a lot harder to troubleshoot!

You could have a point with the ignition switch though...I was forgetting that initially it was a starting problem. I was mainly talking about the problem currently.

You're in Fullerton, that is right near Atomic Performance. Why don't you give them a call.
thanks for all the posts. I did take it to one Dealer and they dont' think anything is wrong so thye WON't Diagnois it futher. As far as gas, I go to 2 different stations. I'll take a look at all your suggestions and let you know. Car still runs and still NO engine check light. Will drop it off at the deal and have then check the ignition and clean out the injector. If it still is not running right at least I can rule out those factors. I'll keep you posted.
