......Im about to change my tranny fluid on my d16z6 what Kinda Tranny Fluid should i use???.......hit me up asap...Thanks.........how many weights

u can use motor oil but must have the rating of SF/SG you can look in the back, thats what most auto places will recommend

the honda mtf is good but the redline is better if you are going to be hard on the tranny
i have run both and prefer the redline mtl it holds up to the abuse alot longer and its only 2 bucks more per qt.

I second this....I use GM for my D16Z6 tranny and it holds up nice...of course until the damn clutch goes when you are down on money....

ok lets see... over 100k on a z6 gearbox honda mtf lasts about 3 months of heavy race abuse and redline mtl lasts a year one change per season!!!! also tranny whines a little w/honda fluid no noise with redline

my ohnest opinion is run whatever you want but i have used both and i run redline in my cars and alot of the guys i autox with use it too hasnt dammaged anything yet and has deffinatly kept me from having to rebuild my tranny..

agreed. redline is what i use and have not had a problem with it.
