o2 sensor wiring help needed.....94cx
factory o2 is a one wire
d16z6 o2 (what is getting put in) is a four wire (2 black wires, a green, and a white)......also going from p05 ecu to a p28
green goes to pin D22 on the ecu
white goes to pin D14 on the ecu
......now the two black wires....A25....A6...does it matter which wire goes where? I would guess not since they're both black but I want to make sure.
I have already searched this, but there was no clear info on the black wires,

and even if the black wires go to (example) c33 pin and a b12 pin (example)....how do I know if one black wire goes to a certain pin???

most cx civics do not come wired for a 4 wire o2 sensor.....MOST come with a one-wire o2 sensor. I know there are some with a factory 4-wire sensor, just not mine.
that engine harness thing brings up another question. If I use my civic ex/si harness (d16z6) in the engine bay.....do I need to run any wires off of the 4-wire sensor to the ecu?

Actually I believe the 92 CX is pre-wires for a 4 wire O2 sensor. All except for VX (which is 5 wire).
The EX/SI/DX is wired for a four wire O2 sensor. As for the 93-95 EG's, I don't believe they are. You need to add the pinouts (D22, A25, A6 and D14).
If you use an EX/Si harness, then you still need to add the pins from the shock tower harness to the ECU.

92 cx does, yeah....but mine is a 94.....so that doesn't help.
thats what I thought about the shock tower pins.....but I went to a junkyark today....
looked at passenger side engine harness......from a d16z6 del sol.....to a d15b8 95 civic cx. And it seems that the ONLY wires that are not in the non-vtec harness are the vtec wires. So if everything was the same besides the vtec part of it, then is the 4-wire o2 harness just wired into the engine bay harness itself?
I don't know.....I guess I'll just unravel my spare d16z6 engine bay harness and see where exactly those 4 o2 wires go.

i just checked my 93 cx wiring and it was pre wired for a 4 wire o2...there were wires going directly into the ecu...where i was supposed to add them
which should mean that the wires themselves (except the signal wire) probably connect inside the engine bay harness.....at least that what I think.....
