sharp eye you're the only one that noticed. I believe she is one of the Honda drivers in the N1 races. She is a guest instructor at some of the Type-R driving meetings as well...forgot her name...

It's clean but I prefer the 04 OEM lip. I can just imagine hitting the curb or parking block with that thing.

Same HP at 240, i believe 163 torque and 8k redline. Gearing is also closer.

The car also rides much much much smoother. They improved a lot on the gearing. Now when you shift, it drops straight back to vtec. They put much better tires on it also. With the old ones you cant throw a hard turn without the tires screetching but the new stock tires sticks and hugs the ground real well. 04 s2k is vastly improved.

the 2004 s2000 is suppose to handle worse. They lost the "race edge" with this new s2000. They upgraded wheels from 16 to 17 and the suspension isn't suppose to be as intense as the older ones.
My buddy works at a local Honda dealship, and I was going to trade my 2000 S in for a 04, but I don't want a redline at 8000 instead of 9000. The torque was only bumped up from 153 to 161, and if the suspension on the 04's are suppose to be less aggressive then i'll be d*mned if i'll step into a new one.
I guess it won't be that big of a difference, but I'm picky about stuff like that, but that's just my opinion.
I would like to have those headlights and tail lights, but too bad they don't fit my MY00.

Actually, I read that the '04 headlights are a direct bolt on to the 00-03's, but the rear lights require fitting the complete rear bumper etc. to fit. Don't quote me on this though, I just remember reading somewhere...
