WELL SHIT!!!(wheel studs again)
i took some of my lugnuts off. 2 straight off, one broke and the last one is completely fucked up. When i turn it, it just spins around without loosening. Anyone know how to fix this?PLEASE HELP!!
U need to replace the lugnut studs.
Go buy some lug nut studs from honda dealership. should be around 3-5 bucks each.
if u'r trying to do this by yourself u need a 32'' with impact. and then just take off all the stuff that are in your way, and replace.
walla ~

what kind on wheel is it?
If they are black outs or somthing like it just use a hammer to brake the stud. thats what I did but I was rolling on stock 13's.
When it happened at the track on my slick one of my friends bent the stud just enough to bind it in the hub and the lug came right off.

go buy a dremel tool and cut it yourself then go buy the studs, then return the dremel for a full refund...<<< ghetto version. works for me.
this happened to a car i was working on one time. luckily i had an impact wrench and i just kept impacting it and it eventually came off. basically, all that turning melted the stud off and i could see half of it still stuck onto the lug nut.
good luck

I suggested an impact, since I don't know how freely its spinning. If you are using a hand tool, and it spins, but still takes some effort to turn, an impact can loosen the nut still with the stud spinning. But there needs to be some resistance on the stud side.
If its spinning freely....you'll have to cut.

If you have an open lugnut then you can drill into the stud. I did this on mine and it eventually came off.</TD></TR></TABLE>
damnit...im gonna drill that **** tomorrow.

like the other guy said... if there is still decent resistence then you should be able to get it off with an impact gun. if it spins totaly freely be prepared to have the worst day of your life when you go to cut it off.
if it were in my shop and it spun totaly freely, i would tack weld the back of the stud to the hub then use an impact gun.
BTW an impact gun is much different than doing it by hand... the impact gun hits it several times per second, not just turning it... it hits it hard in very fast pulses so you have a good chance of getting it off with an impact.
