Looking at 90' Accord, but no AC.
I am looking at a 90 accord, but it has no AC. Would I be able to buy the parts myself and fix it or is this a job for a pro? I have the time, but would not want to put more than $250 into it. The car is mint with 140,xxx miles on it and an auto (eu) for 2 grand. Is this a good deal? I thought it was. It looks good to me because it is reallly the only thing i can afford.
thats a good deal, but, if i were u, i would take it to a certified person because i know of the perils of a/c repair (working on a valve when it exploded and froze whole hood and part of my face)
Finding the A/C parts shouldn't be too hard. Get a NEW dryer can for it, though. They tend to absorb moisture out of the air and go bad when they're left sitting out, unplugged.
