Default H-T All Stars at PIR this last sunday (lots of pics)

What a day!!!! Tons of rain (never drove on a soaked track before) and dry track in between. It was an absolute blast. The drive down was wet and nasty but we all made it in one piece. John and Nash towed, the rest of us followed in the cars.

Once in Portland we ate at Red Robin and headed back to the Hotel. Slipped into the hot tub (sorry, no pics of that )

Woke up at 5:00 a.m. showered and put my car back together (after disabling it) for fear of phuking thieves. Ended up at the track around 7 (still dark) to get set up and we were on the track by 9ish. It was good seeing James, Scott and Greg again. A big thanks to Greg for riding along one session and giving me some pointers. Anyway, enough talking, here are the pics.

The all stars:

Pat, (WRX):

Greg telling me I was number 1 after his session w/ me

Kyle (wounded hatch) and Nash (not wounded hatch):

John (Green hatch):

Brad (Blue GTI) and Shawn (Grey GTI):

James (Blue Hatch):

Paul (Red Hatch):

Trever (foreground, White Hatch) and Demian (background, White Hatch):

Scott (White ITR):

Zach (me, Black Coupe) helping John w/ strapping his car down

Now, pics of cars on the track (and others) can be found here:

Funny part of it is...I was parked out in the front lot, passed out in the rental car from a night out at Exotica. You guys woke my *** up from all those loud cars buzzing around the track!

What a great day! It rained... it poured... I didn't drive...it blew.

But it was good seeing all the NW dudes in the paddock with their 1.5 tons of tents, tarps, tires and tools...but no cooler? WTF?

It was great to ride around in some Hondas that actually made your head hit the headrest for a change! Nash and Zach have a couple of cars that are real thrills to ride in. It's always good to look across to the driver and see he's equiped with an anti-sub belt and a harness, wearing a balaclava and wearing gloves, and of course sitting in a full race seat, while I check the functionality of the stock belt lock mechinism on the passenger side.

It was really a fun day, although my pig was back in the garage...sick.

Greg - Mr. Yellow

Damian - Mr. White
Nash - Mr. Whiter
John - Mr. Green
James - Mr. Blue
Brad - Herr Blau (as in kraut blue)
Zach - Mr. Black
Scott - Mr. White (as in "lightning") or Mr. Brown (as in "streak")

No problem... I had a blast. But I never will get used to being on track sitting in a bouncy stock seat and wearing a thin seatbelt.

Nice driving BTW. You and Nash should concider getting a race kaa and put those mad skillz to the test.

I'll have Nash chime in on this one. I think it's a Nikon or Canon Digital SLR. I'm sure Pat could suck Scott up on the straight as the Rex puts 300 to the wheels, but I don't think he has the nads to hold him off in the turns.

Canon E10D (Digital SLR) - trust me when I say it is a pleasure taking pictures with that camera. What you see in the albums is approximately 180 pictures out of 850 that were taken.

Nash - Mr. WhiteARRRR according to Greg

Hey guys.

I don't have 300 to the wheels. I was dyno'd at 232 on a conservative dyno.

I think the ITR had me pretty much everywhere but what do you expect for a car that has about 500-700 lbs on me. I still have a full street interior.
