Is it near the CAT, or Resonator? Sounds like it might be a heat shield, if they werent already removed.

Like Chris said, it's most likely the heat shields above the cat and/or b-pipe.

Upper and Lower heatshields were removed, they dont fit on the JDM header.

There are heat shields under the car shielding the exhaust from the under body.

Check those!!!!

if you remove the heat shield, make sure the brake lines aren't exposed. Prolly not a good idea to heat up those lines.

i had a rattle with my apex..it was coming from the rear exhasut section..the rubber hangers were worn out and causing it to have to much freedom to jump around..hope this helps..even if your car is new..while running check under the car.and try and pinpoint were the sound is coming from..that would help us out a little more..

check to make sure your shifter isn't hitting the exhaust as well. i'm not particularly familiar with your platform, but that's a common problem with most of the cars i work on

The common place for the N1 to hit is at the connection of the A pipe (straight) to the B pipe (S shaped). The place where thise two bolt together will be extremely close to the heat shield that is there. Just take a scewdriver and bend the heat shield back a little bit. I also have a Spoon Header, high-flow cat, and Apex N1 and that is the only place that I ever had contact.

Good Luck.
