Default It took ripping out the interior but.....

I ran a 13.42 on Friday at the track!! woo hoo

Here's what I can remember from the time slip, I forgot it at home, damn it!

r/t: .239
60ft: 2.087
1/4: 13.42
MPH: 104.81

Any advice on how to get my 60ft time lower w/out slicks. I'm running on BFG Drag Radials right now.

Congrats!

That's an awesome 60 foot time for non-slicks. Whatever your doing, your doing it right. Maybe with a little more track time you could hit 1.9's.

What rpm did you launch at? Tire pressure? etc?

I usually launch between 4000/5000rpm, with the tire pressure set at 15/16 psi. That's been actually one of my best 60ft times. Usually I have a low 2.1, I'm working on trying to be in the consistant 2.0 range.

Great time, good 60 ft

2.0 wiht your power is what 75% of people run so don't be disapointed, just practice on keeping the 2.0 consistent. I cant rmember form your old post but i know this is an improvement over your last time, which was 13.7 i think. Only change was drag radials?

Just looked at your old timeslip from previous post. It was 2.1 60 ft 13.9 @101
mph. Looks like you figured out the bfg's, go them nice and hot, lower tire psi, and found the sweet spot, also you gained 3 mph did you turn the boost up a little bit?

Before Friday, I had gotten my time down to a 13.69 w/a 2.12 60ft at 102mph. The only change I made on Friday was the interior. Pulling out the seats and the system took the car from about 2750 to about 2620 w/me in it.

I haven't turned up the boost or anything, I think the cooler weather combined with better driving have helped my times.

Damn, I can't wait to build the motor and turn the boost up!
