Default Change spark plugs for a turbo setup?

I'm in the process of putting my kit on and i was wondering, is it crucial to change your plugs for a turbo setup...i have ngk iridium ix's and i was going to go w/ ngk r's...good?

yea go w/ngk coppers. i beleve the 3330's are one heat range colder as per gude.

Yes, you have to change them to a colder plug. The iridium's are a waste of money. Get these from your local auto zone/ advanced auto:

NGK BCPR7ES, part number 3330

Then gap them to .030

i thought it was .028

It depends on how much power you are planning on putting out and what type of ignition system you are using.

.028-.030 is fine

I run a .025 on my setup for 20psi.

i'm running bkr6e-11. i have to look for the box to get the stock #.

got mine gapped to .035. running msd digi 6/hvc coil, ngk wires. 8 psi(if i can get it to stop creeping.)

edit: just read some ggod stuff, going to try a 7 or even 8.

Yes it is a street legal daily driver I do have an extra car now so I will be using my JDM's out camry for my commutes to school, the bars downtown, and whenever the weather sucks.
