Default VTEC Controller for 7th Generation Accord

I was thinking of buying a VTEC controller for my 2003 Honda Accord LX Coupe but I'm not sure that it would be compatible with the new K24A4 iVTEC engine that the new models have. The controller I want to buy is a pretty good model. A jdm APEXi VTEC controller. Would this be a good investment or a waste of money, if it does not even make a difference in harnessing the VTEC at lower rpms? Please give me some info on this.

the vafc II works with the new motors, but unless you got at least I/H/E and plan on dyno tuning it will be worthless.

you'll need to dyno tune it on a real dyno, no g-tech, butt dyno, or buddy-buddy dyno.

i/h/e+ FPR and apex'i vafc, alot of guys run that set up, remember vafc dont give you alot of hp but it smooth out the power band curve.
