so be a lil more vague u retard. if you can swap heads then prolly u can swap other parts.

what do you want to know then? what parts do u need to have swapped.

why not just keep it simple all stick to one engine. life will be alot simplier if u dont mix parts for no good reason.

As far as I know the h23 and h22 blocks are the SAME.

The only thing different about the engines are the crank, rods, piston and complete head

also like oil pumps and stuff .. anything where the timng belt goes is different to accomodate for the more agressive head on the H22 for Vtec.

If you took an H23 and H22, gutted the blocks you can swap them both and have an H23 engine labeled H22 and vice versa.

Oh yeah, oil squirters will need to stay with the H22 crank because the h23 crank doesnt have enough clearance with them.

Sorry boys that i wasn't specific enough.. i still have lot to learn... i am not a big mouthed boy or some thing like it. I am here to learn new things and read evry thing on here thats about tech and stuff.

I heard that H23 and H22 parts like header,IM?, and stuff like that are interchangeble. The external parts not the internal parts?

Was it specific enough? Just let me know..i have no hard feelings.

I'm such a mean moderator. Basically the heads are different so things that connect to the head aren't compatible.

Intake yes
TB yes
IM NO
Injectors Yes
Anything in the head NO
Headers No

all the internal parts are though. you just need to keep certian things together. like crankl rods and pistons. unless you want to go custom, like h23 crank h22 rod and custom pistons. if i ever build an h23 vtec, thats how ill do it.

cry me a river. why didnt you just ask a more specific question?

everyday people come on here and ask what cams to get or what exhaust is the best in the world. yet they list absolutely nothing on what their setup is. you didnt provide any info on what parts you needed. or why you even really needed to know besides your buddy saying something.

and how do you define interchangable? pretty much anything can be modified to get it to work with any other part. just a matter of how much time and money you want to put into it to get it to work.

there was a not a single thing said in this post that wasnt already covered in a past thread.
did you read this: prelude FAQ thread first?

I think you still need to be a little more vague or specific If someone said for example is everything external between the h23 and h22 interchangeable. The answer would be no as already stated, But if you asked the question in your quote about everything external to the block then I would say yes. Thinking you are talking about motor mounts, tranny, p/s a/c brackets etc...
