Help ! Koyokogen lug is stripped & key is crap !

Default Help ! Koyokogen lug is stripped & key is crap !

I tried the over sized socket trick but it ended up rounding off 2 of my lugs. ANy suggestions ? Got 14 more to go. Thanks in advance

pair of vice grips or hammer a large allen key/wrench in there.

was gonna do vice grips but will scratch my slips. the lugs are too soft. everytime i use a smaller socket, it still slips off

here i the solution: The lug is junk now...so take the next smallest size socket....impact socket 6pt and get the BIG hammer. Bang it on there and get an impact gun. Impact gun is usually needd cause the breaker bar goes too slow and usually strips again. This should do the job. Good luck

that sux dude takin off a lug with no key is a biach..... just my personal opinion but what the hell is so good about lightweight lugs ur only gonna shave off mere ounces if that.. whoop de doo i have ****** lightweight lugnuts those wont do anything to improve performance

take it to a tire shop and have them take em off. shouldnt cost you more than $25.

discount tire is usually very cool about things.. I had trouble taking off my lugs before (mcgard lugs) I called and they said they charge about 5 bux for each one they take off.. but they hooked me up and did it for free. All they did was wedge a smaller sized socket on the lug and jammed the sucker out via airtool those guys are awesome

I have a set of Gorillas but the lugs were part of a package deal so I said whet the heck. Now I know & knowing is half the battle. lol
