AEM or Iceman?????
I'm having trouble deciding if i should keep the Ice Man Intake which came with my 97 Prelude when I bought it. I know AEM is a big name in the business but sometimes the little guys are better. I tried reading reviews, most people say Ice Man is pretty good with at least 5% hp gain and 6% torque gain. I want to know if anybody has this and knows which is better.
a CAI is a CAI basically, if you wanna spend the money, get something else to make power, like a header or ignition perhaps, but dont go blow $200 to buy a different version of something you already have, i mean, buying a new CAI just for the name would be like buying new altezzas

Just like the guys stated above. I believe CAI are the universal except that AEM is street legal. I brought my generic CAI from Ebay for 20 bucks and replace the filter with a K&N one. Works great. If you really want some power, go with a cam job. Cam Shafts are the way to go if you want torque and power. Don't forget the cam gears. The whole thing will cost you 600 puppies, but you're be real happy. My friend just got it done on his 2001 lude and it kicks my *** at the line like nothing and I have the basic mods on my 98 lude.

I'd go aem. The ice man is only good as a short ram. From messing with different intake setups, I think that the cold air should be 3" tubing or 2.5" for a short ram for best results.
