I'd say stick with the OEM ones, been using them for the last 289,000 miles and counting.

You can never go wrong with OEM. I use Fram Tough Guard filters myself. They're easy to remove without any tools.

YEah speaking of the OEM ones what's with Honda changing the size of the filter! I've used teh same wrench I got from Honda way back when I got my car all these years and now it doesn't fit anymore. What were they thinking?

I use honda. Just a little bit more but well worth it. Have you ever taken a fram apart versus a honda filter. much more filtering involved in a honda...

will an s2000 filter work on a 5g accord. i have heard that the oem s2000 filter is better than the oem 5g f22b filter, and that they fit, but wanted to make sure of it.

Yes, all 4 cylinder Honda engines use the same filter but suposedly Honda has changed the size of their filters for everything but the s2000. So if you have a filter socket it might not fit on the new accord filters but will on a s2000 filter.

I use a hastings/baldwin filter, $5 or so each. I cut one open, pretty solid construction.

I asked the guy at the dealer I go to and he said they changed the size because the newer cars have smaller spaces to work within so the smaller filters make it easier.

I'm quessing since they changed the size of the filters except for the S2000 ones is that the filters we are buying now are the same as the S2000 ones. Thats just a quess though.
