valve cover?
Does anyone know where i could by a new f22 valve cover, mines kinda looking bad. Its got oil stains where the guy b4 me didnt know how to use a funnel. and its faded and starting to peel.

let me know if you find where to buy em . mine looks like it was in the ocean for 20 years. i was gona take mine off and get it powder coated or sand and paint it.

the single cam f series doesnt have a custom valve cover that i have ever seen, i would get some aircraft remover to strip the krinkle paint and either polish it or paint it.. but if you like the krinkle paint which i do .. you can use some simple green clean it up real good then paint it with light coats of paint so you dont fill up the texture to much

advance auto parts and autozone carry carb cleaner in a white 1 gallon can for around $10. it will eat paint with no problems. also causes cancer and smells pretty nasty too.
Yes, you can find the paint stripper at any paint store and you need to get some high temp primer also. After you have stripped the cover, go back with RED scotchbrite pad throughly, and clean again with heavy duty degreaser. Once done, prime the entire cover with several coats, (3) and then go with the color. You should use some high temp stuff, but i've done several VC's with regular automotive paint and had perfect results. You should do at least 4-5 coats of the color and let dry completely. After finished, you can go back and grind the VTEC lettering back with a sander or block.
