Comptech Sway/Tie Bar Kit on stock LS
I'm looking into a rear sway bar and rear lower tie bar... I was considering a Type-R sway bar and a Beaks/BSQ Kit, but then i found the Comptech combo for a good price.. Is there any caution i should take? I've heard that just having a rear sway/tie bar kit makes the car oversteer like crazy, and in the rain its really dangerous. I want to have a very neutral car... i did a couple of searches but i didnt come up with anything specific.. Any comptech sway/tie bar owners... was it worth the money, and more imporantly, does it serve a purpose in HARD daily driving?

they feel is awesome!!! buy the Comptech set up. It is worth it!!! the car will not oversteer. It will feel very neutral. I do recommend aftermarket springs and shocks though. Also better tires since you will be driving faster around corners and the crappy Michelin will not stick. I do not recommend the ITR sway bar with just the BSQ with with stock suspension since the sway bar will be doing a lot of the suspension work.
I have the "old" Comptech setup.
Together, they were my first mods. I would HIGHLY recommend tires though. Even though the handling improves drastically, your newfound willingness to test the limits could lead to disaster...get some good tires.
See my web page for pics (but remember the tie bar will be different. Also, you will notice the red (or silver) bar. Its visible and obvious, yet says "I'm modded" in a subtle way. Its the only exterior cue that my car is not stock besides the yellow shocks (its lowered .75" which no one notices). I've kinda got the red/yellow McDonald's theme going on down there
