Default JDM B16a with 92 LS Tranny

Is it ok to use a B16a with an Integra LS tranny? I am just wondering if the B16a has enough power to push 4th and 5th gears on a LS Integra tranny. I know the GSR trannies have shorter 5th gears. I heard Preludes that used Si trannies with H22a motors kept dropping out of the powerband.

He probably meant the Prelude Si tranny that came on the H23's. I think that the H22's tranny is geared slightly quicker than that of the Si...Correct me if I'm wrong.

i have a ls trannie in my b16
i use to have a b16 trannie before it started to grind
the ls trannie runs fine and i dont think its really that much slower. 3rd gear is kind of long though almost goes to 100mph when i go to 8k
gas millage also jumped way up after i got the ls trannie
from 18mpg to 22mpg

So there really shouldn't be any trouble using an LS tranny with the B16? I am actually looking at buying this car that has a JDM b16 putting out 170-175? horsepower, in an 92 LS body using the stock LS tranny that had an LSD put in when the tranny was rebuilt. It also has Eibach coilovers and KYB shocks. He's asking 6k for the car. What do you think? Is insurance different when you have a different motor and other mods?

PS: I was refering to the Prelude Si that uses the H23
