Default Speed governor on a JDM H22A with P13??

I was on the freeway lastnight testing out my JDM H22A in my Integra.... hit 120mph then had fuel cut off. I wasnt sure if this was the speed governor or not. If it is can chipping the ECU take that away? If not how can I remove it??

Chipping my ECU took it away. Also took away the rev limiter...

damn, my usdm doesnt shut off there, i have hit like 135 before and the fuel never cut off...I wouldnt think a jdm one would cut the fuel any sooner, plus someone once told me the jdm ones and the usdm ones are the same, someone please correct me if im wrong

If you really need to go faster get a USDM P13, chips are no good.

Or just get, a fields Vtec controller.. It takes the limiter out.

Are you positive about that? My friend has one that I might be able to borrow. I wanna confirm this before I try it though. Anyone else??

Also, are the fuel curves/maping different from the USDM and JDM P13?? Do you guys suggest I just run a USDM P13???

Thanks for the fast replys!

Likely somewhat different to work with higher comproession (10.6:1 vs. 10:1), but nothing major I can't imagine.

I know it sounds stupid, but I have the urge to race on the freeway sometimes.. esp. when I see a challenge coming on. Why would we want something restricting us anyways. I probably wont go pass 120 very often anyways, but its just good to know that I can go alot faster than that for my own satisfaction. I guess its just my own preference.

if you want to get your jdm p13 chipped, either Cheetah or kenji can do it. I have had a few p13's chipped and the only problems i have seen is when you chip an auto to manual. They seem to idol higher and cause fluctuation in the idol.
