JUST INSTALLED JG MANIFOLD
As stated above I just finished a installing jg Edelbrok polished intake manifold on a 01 GSR. Pain in the ***. Has any one else ran into trouble with this install? Edelbrok did not send all the parts needed. I had to do alot of improvising. Once done, drove car for a test drive. Pulls nice after 6500 rpm. Seemed to make bottom end a little slower. Overall good improvement. Sorry no pics
It's some kind of conspiracy. The Skunk2 IM is equally poorly equipped. Nice products, but incomplete packaging with pathetic instruction. For the $$$ I don't think expecting a complete package & proper instruction is unrealistic.
I think with every intake manifold out there right now you should expect to spend an extra 40 or so dollars on fittings, tees, hoses, gaskets etc. When I installed the Skunk manifold it took me two days because I had to run and get the odds and ends required to install it, and the stores were closed, or the hoses were too big, small, real PITA.
