Default question on gsr spoilers

my friend has a 95 ls, and he wants to put a oem gsr spoiler on it. His car is milano red, and if he gets a different color spoiler, can he sand it, and paint it milano red? will it look good?

it looking good depends on the quality of his current paint, and the quality of the work he does on the spoiler.

can it look good? yes!

if he gets the milano red spray paint, and paints it good, and then buffs it it should look all the same color right, to bring out the same color?

Integra paints fade over time...especially the Milano Red color.

If his car's paint is PERFECT and you get a factory paint (spray) from the color code on the car...then it should look fine. Although I've never personally seen a resprayed item that matches perfectly.

some of the painters around have a good eye to make it match...

but it's really hard....

You'll never get it to match 100%. The current paint is already exposed for years...and you're adding a spoiler with fresh paint. There will always be a difference!
