Does anyone know if it will fit my d15. I was going to change to oil today and I realized I was out of filters (I buy in bulk). So I was wondering if i could use one from my dads TL-S (he buys in bulk too). Thanks ?

 

I doubt it, just wait until you can buy some more....

 

I just thought that maybe.. but no.. one more opinion and Ill just go buy some a Honda one....

Yeah, its fine I just want someone who is sure so I don't have to drive all the way to the dealer and dish out money for something I already have at home.

To the thread starter, did you ever compare the two filters when you had both of them in stock? Also you can compare them from the one off of your civic...

 

Ill just take is word for it... if not Ill take my brothers Integ to go get another one if it isn't the same. Ill take some pics of them side by side once I get it out. Thanks everyone.

 

Well I did the change and the TL one goes right on. Turns out the TL one was made my Filtech. My old honda one didn't have a name on it anywhere at all... does anyone know what kind it was? Fram?

 

if you can screw the oil filter on, it works.

i think you can even use oil filters made for different cars (non-honda) i forgot which tho.

i think you can even use the K series filters.
