what's the main difference apart from the obvious... is one really a better performer than the other???

the reason for the inquiry is that I've ordered ceramic ones but someone informed my that due to our nasty canadian winters, the downpipe is said to corrode easily due to salty roads...

any info is appreciated...

 

well stainless is a bit lighter and more resistant to corrosion than the ceramic coated mild steel

 

so would you suggest the SS over the CC ones then?

does it affect performance?
ceramic obviously is more heat resistant...

 

yeah, but ive had dc's before and i wouldnt go back to them, really depends on what you are looking for, show or performance, if it is performance i would have a set custom made long tube 4-1 style with a real merge collector

 

I have owned 2 DC SS header's and I love them. All of my friends with Ceramic DC's have had problems with cracking.
