Gsr 4-door or gsr 2-door. I need to make a decision
Im planning to get an integra very soon, but im right now deciding on which car to get...4-door or 2-door. I know 4-door is a little heavier and longer, but it does have a little more traction than 2-door. I have a honda video showing gsr integras on the track and the 4-door won....Help thx

as far as insurance and usability goes... i like my 4 door
length is a bit annoying to me, though. seems hard to park sometimes.

5 passengers, long-term trips, bigger trunk (but not as useful as a hatch for long wide items)

the 4dr has alot of more use for everyday things. i wouldnt mine have a 4dr sometimes. if your going for a drag/street car go with the 2dr.

It can carry 5 passengers versus four. If your concerned with hauling things around, you should be looking at a different car.

basic facts.
1)4dr weights about 80-100Lbs more (depending on year)
2)4dr is longer than 2dr by about 4-6inches.
3)It makes it easier for passangers to get in/out
4)Insurace is lower for the car that preforms the same as 2dr
5)you dont see too many fixed up 4drs
6)people underestimate you (preformance wise) when you drive a 4dr

imo i don't think they should've ever made the a 4 door integra. they corrected this mistake with the RSX. want a sedan? get a TL or TSX. the jdm integra type r sedan was useless. is the type r sedan for moms that race with kids in the backseats?
Yeah the stupid soccer moms in the STi / Evolution sedans **** me off the most.
Anyway, 2doors or 4, it doesn't downplay any "sport" a car really had. You have a set of extra doors.
Personally I don't like the styline of the sedan, although there are some very nice ones ( dLo's comes to mind ). Get what you think is best for you. A sedan if you like how it looks, a hatch if you like how that looks. As far as practability, 2 extra doors is useful; although I have not found a need for that myself. The hatch has plenty of hatch/backseat area.

I have a 4 Door and i just love it when people pull next to me and think that i have a LS and they lose. and like they said before u do not see that many 4 Door GSR's around
If I could do it all over again, I'd definitely go with the 4 door. I'm sick of driving coupes, I've owned a Civic coupe, an MR2, a 240sx, and my Teg, and it's frustrating getting people in and out of the backseats.
Like everyone else said, insurance will be cheaper, more leg room for everyone, more trunk space, and little to no difference in performance between the two cars.
Go with what you like best, not what everyone else thinks. Think of the pro's/con's of each car, and narrow your choice down from there. Good luck with your purchase, GSR's are a blast to drive.

go with the 4dr
Work on the suspension, and go kick the crap out of the those 2dr 2 passenger sports cars. They hate when I pass them
Besides, nobody expects it, and everybody underestimates it.

Ok guys thanks...I might as well get a 4-door. I am thinking of a 1994 and getting those foglights that come with the dc2 in europe. Looks sweet on a db8

umm TSX was the 4dr replacement. TL is too big and heavy to drive compared to a teggy sedan. There is also a big price difference between the TL and the Integra genius. I have both. Taken my teggy to both autoX and to the track. Enlighten me how the sedan is useless.

i have no regrets about making the decision and going thru the hassle of hunting down one of the last, new white DB8's in cali when they were clearing them out 2 years ago. i could have easily bought a 2dr at the time, but the 4dr just made more sense to me cuz it is my daily driver and only car.
do what makes the most sense for your particular needs also. good luck!

I have a 4 door GSR and love it.
My second one - regret selling the first one. I sold it to buy a EG hatch, then sold the hatch to buy a DA6, sold the DA6 and came back to the 4 door GSR. It performs just as well as the 2 door and insurance is better. Plus, it a practical car if you have a baby seat etc....

i own a 2 door, and would never give it up for the 4 door. i guess it's a matter of personal perference, but i'd go with the 2 door.
