tranny code 14?
setup:
1994 honda accord ex 4dr auto
stock f22b1
hondata 2B
p28 auto ecu
drag 4 turbo kit
dsm 450cc injectors
walbro 190lph intank fuel pump
i used to run the vafc hack with the dsm injectors, drag inline fuel pump, and an a'pexi vafc ofcourse but i changed my setup to hondata instead. after the hondata, etc., was installed, my car left the shop (autothority in fairfax, va) with a blinking d4 light in the gauge cluster. tranny was showing early signs of slippage but made 215 whp and 195 tq at 10 psi at the dyno though. called hondata and tech support doesn't know a thing about it and i get a the runaround between them and the shop. no one wants to help or knows anything-just point fingers. the only notes that i see on hondata's website regarding 90-95 Accord LX/EX are that:
1. Manual transmission only with the s100 or s200 systems.
2. 94 and 95 Accords have EGR (A11) and the O2 heating (A6) reversed and must be rewired
i took care of the first problem by getting the stage 2b with p28 ecu (92-95 civic sohc auto). i'm pretty sure autothority took care of the second problem by installing the hondata correctly. but if they didn't wire it rigt, wouldn't i get a cel instead of a tranny code?
i've also been told that 94-95 accords have a separate ecu for the tranny called the tcm or something like that. i'm wondering if the p28 ecu and the accord tcm is generating that blinking d4 in the gauge cluster. i recently got my tranny rebuilt and the blinking light is still there after various attempts to reset it, etc. the mechanic said it was a code 14 and at first thought the solenoid pack had gone bad. he compared mine to another one and ditched that idea. after looking into a little more info about code 14, he mentioned that it could be something related to engine/fuel management or some aftermarket accessory.
so anyway, it sucks right now cause i have to pussyfoot the pedal but about 750 miles to break in the tranny and keep it below 3500 rpms. no one is sure if the blinking d4 is a natural error code caused by the aftermarket setup that i have or if it's a sign of a bad thing that's going to happen (even though the tranny has been rebuilt). any help/info would be greatly appreciated.

didn't i mention that i just had the auto tranny rebuilt? did you even read my post at all? i'm trying to figure this blinking d4/code 14 out. anyway, look who's talking. you have the same setup as me-slipping auto, drag 4 turbo kit minus the hondata, and lx motor instead of ex. so why don't you get the money to get a supercharged h22 setup?
