Default will eagle rods be sufficient...?or should i switch to crowers?

12.1 compression...revving to 9.5k or so...will the eagle rod bolts stretch?anyone got EXPERIENCE with eagles in all motor cars..possibly might be using a 80 shot direct port on race gas..just unsure whether or not the rods will handle the power....unsure of exact power output but before nitrous i am just hoping for 200whp at the least..anything above that is extra..if i needa list my setup lemme know..

ive heard that after 400 wheel horse the rods start to stretch. Ive used the eagle in my lsvtec, and revved to 9500 quite often but My engine developed a wrist pin nock and eventually gave. but that has nothing to do with the rod, I dont think. The Eagle rods come with arp bolts so there will be no probs there.

Eagle rods are a little on the heavy side... Id so go with an I beam style rod, Probe makes a decent utra lite I beam rod

Why does everyone think Eagle rods are so heavy? Because of the H-beam design? Looks can be decieving. They will be fine.

We have weighed each and every rod on the market and the eagle rods are in fact HEAVY... Looks have nothing to do with weight... Our H Beams are a lot lighter than eagles H beam... Probe I beams are as of right now the lightest "shelf" rod on the market...

Cunningham has a set out stronger and lighter then Probes.

Well post the results and end all of the hearsay. I would like to see weights in grams off all aftermarekt and OEM rods.

Cunningham makes an awesome rod no doubt, pricey but worth it... The only down side to cunningham is they do not have a shelf rod... to my knowledge they are all custom and have waiting times of up to 6 weeks...

For a shelf rod with the same pricing as Eagle, Probe is the way to go

You are right. Cunningham's are 100% custom everytime. Why I said they can custom tailor to what ever you want. That' why I said for all motor, Eagle's are great becuase you won't overpower them, cheap, not heavier to make a difference and if you need anything more, then you might as well get cunningham's.

So post some results also.
