Ok i plan on having a B16 swap here in the near future. I also want to turbo charge it. I know there are bolt on kits for the B16 but does anyone know how well a bolt on kit works with the b15 in a crx (fitment and stuff)? Also, i plan on still attending HPDEs (road racing) so i need it to be a mild kit that wont cause overheating and such with the car being maxed out for 30 min stretches. I think mild boost would be best... but then again, i know nothing about how to pick a tubro, i just know how they work... any help would be great
I have a uk spec crx which has the b16 in it as stock.
I got a revhard stage 2c kit (They list it in there kit list as a crx b16 swap) and it fitted stright in with no problems and i used to drive at the limit and it didnt overheat but i thinks thats because of the larger rad you get in the uk spec crx.
Hope i've been help to you.
Just make sure your ign timing is good, cos that will kill the b16 in seconds if it out!

i have a 88 CRX HF with a b16 and a t3/t4 turbo and i think that you will get the best results if you make your own kit if you are able to do it if not a bolt on kit is better then none. are you going to run hondata.

that really is the best thing to do. since the engine bay on our cars is so small, there isnt much room for pre-fabbed parts created w/ other cars in mind. I started out w/ a drag gen 3 kit (big mistake) and after all the problems were solved, the only things from the kit i still have are the manifold and turbo.

well i was going to go with a fluidine rad, getting it built custom might be the way to go but i was hoping a bolt on would save time and money. I was thinking of using a hondata... i'll have a shop do the install anyway to make sure all the timing is right. I want to drive honda challange one day, though not with this CRX, i just wanted to boost my daily driver. I know all motor... but i know basically nothing about the turbo world.
