Does anybody know how much it is to replace the rear hatch glass on a 94+ teg. The landscaping guy at my apartments was cutting the grass and a rock flew over and cracked my glass. The only thing holding it all together is the tint.

either go with a local national glass franchised business to install one of theirs,

or you might as well look into something like FAL or the likes.

 

get a check from the apartment, then DIY. hit up the junkyard

 

If ur a serious racer order JDM rear glass its lighter but it would cost more

 

Off subject I live in Knox-vegas also I had the white turbo GSR I've sold all my parts except for 17" 5-zigen fn01r-c wheels and a fiber images hood if u r interested in buying these parts im me bradurdad@aol

 

you should maybe check out if you can get the jdm hatch its lighter and in my opinion worth the money

I ended up getting a quote for $825 plus it still has to be tinted!!! The dude almost had a heart attack when I told him how much. Ended up being that his father-in-law owns a body shop in town, so he asked i'd take it to him and let him do the work. I said no prob. Well, his father-in-law calls me today and says he's going to replace the whole hatch and paint it! He said it's easier than swapping out just the glass. So now I get a new hatch too. I'm sure it will be used, but atleast I get some fresh paint!

G3 hatch glass should be MUCH more expensive than G2 because the glass has much more of a compound curve than does the G2 glass.

I can't believe that a rock broke it. I've seen G3 Integras involved in MASSIVE rear end collisions and rollovers, etc. and the rear glass is usually ALWAYS still intact. I've always been amazed how strong that rear glass seems to be, yet a rock broke yours. Oh well at least you got it worked out. If you have/had a wing and want to get rid of the wing holes, or the emblem holes, now is a great time to do it.

 

i paid 180 for glass and windshield wiper assembly

 

$50 for back hatch with glass from junkyard for my bosses 90 LS, took about 30 minutes to swap it out right in the junkyard parking lot.

 

how much do you think a new windshield would cost for my DA? i know its not really ontopic, but its only off by a bit! thanks.
