Default What size drag slicks to use on all-motor H22A Honda Civic

Okay guys, my all-motor H22A is done, and I'm running high 13s with normal 205/50/15 Kumhos 712s launching at 2200RPM.

I'm making almost 210WHP and around 160 FT-LBS of TORQUE.

As of right now, I shift into 4th gear and go on for another 500RPM or so before ending the quarter mile.

I'm now ready to switch to slicks to see if I can hit very low 13s or high 12s.

What size you guys think I should get?
Should I get bigger slicks like 24 or 24.5 slicks so I can end the 1/4 mile redlining 3rd gear, or should I go down to 22 inch slicks so I can get close to redlining in 4th gear?

Do the 23's. Heard good things about them with the all motor cars making around 200whp. The 22's might be too small with all that torque.

you dont have short enough gears for 23s.. all you need is 22x9x13 you will like them. good luck.

I used my 23'' M&H slicks for the first time this weekend and ran consistant 1.77 60' times, I used to use the M&H 24.5 and the 22's but had the best luck with the 23's. Not to mention that John@M&H will get them to you very fast, excellent service!!

I AGREE WITH USING 13-22-9" SLICKS WITH THAT LOW OF H/P ON A PRELUDE MOTOR WHEN U WANT TO STEP UP WITH H/P THEN STEP UP WITH DIAMETER OF SLICKS

I run the 14" and am very happy with them, but for 12's the 13" should be just fine!

John is a great guy. Awhile ago, me and him just message each other on Honda-Tech, and he's been very informative.

I'm now running on 22x8x13 with 208WHP!
The slicks spin a little too much, so I might have to go with a wider slick like 22 x 9 x 13.

I'm hitting consistent 1.8 - 1.9 60' Times.

yeah i'd use the 22x9's for sure...when i bumped up to the 23's with 204whp i was running 12.4's and then switched back to the 22's and ended up with 12.0's...all i changed was the tires...

They also make 22 x 9.5 x 13

Has anyone used these wide slicks before? I'm afraid they could rub. I'm currently using ST Springs (1.3" Drop) on Tokico Illuminas in a 92-95 Honda Civic Coupe.

I only have 208WHP, so I don't need a taller tire, but I have torque, and my slicks spin on 22 x 8 x 13 even at 10psi launching at 5500RPM.

I think it's in his signature? Is it 13.64?
