Ls Vtec with b17 head???

has anyone built a ls vtec motor with the b17 head??? is there any issues with it???any help would help

b17 = stroked out b16, so just about 3/4 of the lsvtec's out there have a b17 head.

Heads...

B16, B17 and B18C5 = PR3

B18C1 = P72

A b17 head is the same as a b16 head. It's just put on a different block. They're plenty of people using b16 heads when building a ls/vtec.

The B16, B17 and B18C5 are all exactly the same PR3 head... So if one works, they all work.
