Default Switching from Greddy 15g to 18g

Hey guys, i have a D16y8 that i'm charging with a Greddy 18g turbo..
Right now, i have the 15g kit...I am selling the 15g turbo itself and want to buy the 18g. Will the 18g turbo fit on the mani that came with the 15g kit?

Please HELP ME

Thanks.

if you already charging with an 18G i dont get the Q... do you mena you are using a 15G... and i dont think the bolt pattern is the same but maybe since Greddy could use one mold with 2 diff. flanges for the manifold

it wont fit on the manifold, you will need an adapter plate

best thing to do is call greddy and ask them, since theres two different asnwers already, unless someone can provide you with pics or some sort of fact.

i have searched on here, i have been told that "it wont bolt up" more times then "it will".
even if it does bolt up, you may have block clearence issues.

You will need an adapter plate. The 15g is a td04 and the 18g is a tdo5 housing. They will not fit to the mani without an adapter plate.

ok. so is anybody running the 18g on the 15g mani w/o the adaptor plate...that know for a fact, not just hear say from a friend that is running it...and does it clear the block. which o2 housing and downpipe had to be used....and even better, if it all bolts up, will it still clear the a/c compressor running the 18g?

maybe someone can just post a pic of the 18g vs the 15g's exhaust flanges and we can analyze it

good idea.... not only the exhaust flanges... the regular flange for the mani as well... ( going on that you were talking about for the downpipe!)

i meant exhaust inlet flanges but yeah a pic of the DP would be good so we can see if those match up as well

the exhaust exit flange is 5 bolt (standard t25 bolt pattern) on the 18g and is a 4 bolt on the 15g. The Inlet flange from all that ive seen is smaller on the 15g than on the 18g. The 18g uses a standard t25 flange. I would just sell the 15g and manifold and buy the 18g and get a d-series hks manifold.

I have done more research and found that both 18g and 15g have t25 flanges. Although the exit flange is different
