best way to bring back the shine of moldings...
ok guys, i have a 90 crx...and as you might guess my moldings are starting to lose a bit of their shine. i heard a heat gun would bring some of the shine back. also heard that peanut butter actuallys works too. whats the best method?
and...has anyone out there every repainted the moldings black when painting their car? any pics out there?

but anyways, i was thinking about having them painted when i have the car painted. not just the mouldings themselves, but like...the bottom portions of the car too.

dude, try mothers back to black.
I guarantee it works great.
it all depends on the severity of the damage to your moldings, if they're just faded with some age, then the backtoblack should bring em right back.. to .. well.. black!
i had some that were severely damaged by the previous owner getting lotsa was on em, and the backtoblack didnt get it good as new, but still better.
get it at kragen or something,
and keep applying it for the results to stay,
eventually it hsould keep
