how do you access the intank fuel pump on 4G prelude ?
I am having trouble with my car not starting, I thought it was the alternator, since the clokc and the dash was flickering before it went dead. I replaced the alternator and it still won;t start. One thing I noticed that I could not hear the fuel pump priming while the key is in the ignition switch. BUt I was trying t remove the back seat to look, but have no luck.
can anyone help ?

havent changed it on my 4th gen, but on my 5th (they are both BB chasis codes, so i assume they are the same) i had to remove the back seat and the trunk carpet, there is a silver access panel (similar to the one in your Teg) that is in the trunk, just behind the back seat..... you may be able to get to it without taking the backseat out, but if you look in the trunk, just behine the backseats, almost center of the car (width-wise) it should be right there

The fuel pump sets under the backseat, kinda between the backseat and the trunk. The backs of the seats are easy to remove, just unbolt them. The seat part has a clip on the bottom, put pressure down on the seat, then the clip should easily pull out and you will be able to pull the seat up. Then you should be able to easily access the fuel pump.
it has nor problem starting, it starts fine, but it won't stay running at all. That's why I seem to think it was alternator since the lights and clock was flickering. But after I started to look further, it seems like a fuel problem and the fuel pump does not prime at ignition switch.
Also, where do you look for the fuel pump fuse ? I looked everywhere and can not find it.
