underdrive pulley question
The lack of a damper can damage the bearings. Either the ctr or the jdm b16 (i forgot which) doesnt have a damper and it seems to run fine. I dont know why that particular engine is the only one that doesnt. If anyone can elaborate, I'd like to know. I also know newer nissans have internally balanced parts so they dont need any kind of damper... maybe honda used similar technology but then stoped using it?
this is a pretty funny situation.
one of my buddies told me that it would throw my bearings all out of whack, due to the nature that it would be unbalanced. My car 40k later, runs better than ever. His car, threw a bearing with stock crank.
Though it probablly wasn't the same problem, I found it ironic, don't ya think

PS... if you do get pullies only go with Unorthodox Racing, Not AEM
