I have a usdm ys1 tranny. This guy is trying to sell me a so called "jdm ys1 tranny". I know that there is such a thing. This one that he has is not LSD. Some jdm ys1 are LSD. So that leaves me with try to find out another way. Does any one know how to tell? What do I look for? Am I gonna have to take it apart to compare? Your input is greatly needed.. Thanks!

 

the only thing i know of that you can do to tell the difference between lsd and non lsd is to take the tranny and look through the places you put your axles through...if you can see the other side without some bar being in the way, then its lsd equipped. i don't know if you can check just the stamp on the tranny, but the method i described is one almost surefire way of telling the difference
