Default rough idling for my d16y7 motor, anyone help me???

heres the story. when i 1st got my car back from shop, i noticed my car was idling kinda rough, never used to idle rough before i took it in. well when it was at the shop i got the timing belt replaced, so ever since i got it back its been idling rough. then my check engine light came on and pulled up code "P0172" (i think) which means "engine running too rich". so the shop said to change O2 sensors and i did but didnt work, still idling rough. so im guessing has to do something with timing? i posted this b4 and someone said they had same problem, and said it was the timing that was messed up. is this true? someone plz help me. rough idling is annoying. i have a 98 civic cx hb
