my teg (b18C) fialed Co emissions last week, i have the retest this wednesday, i fitted the field SFC vtec i had laying in my room for the last 6 months. the Co reading was 0.32%vol (limit is 0.3%) i changed the plugs and screwed the timing back 3 degrees and the levels dropped sufficiently to pass, but i dont want to take the risk on the day of it being up again, so i was going to lean out the mixture using the SFC.....but by what? The test is conducted at idle which was ok and 2500-3000rpm which is the one it failed on, if i leaned it out by 10% between 2-3000rpm, would that be enough to guarantee it getting through?
